IRMO, SOUTH CAROLINA (March 16, 2009) – Southland Log Homes, Inc. America’s largest log home company, today named Kenneth S. Sekley to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is effective as of March 19.
Mr. Sekley’s career includes nearly 30 years in consumer and industrial products, including over four years with Patio Enclosures, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, where he first served as president and chief operating officer prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2007. Before Patio Enclosures, Sekley was an executive vice president with ICI / Glidden Paints in Cleveland. In addition, he served as vice president of marketing for Lesco, a turf products business in Strongsville, Ohio, and served in various marketing, sales, and business development roles at American Cyanamid in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Mr. Sekley holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Princeton University, a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.
