San Antonio, TX – America’s largest log home company, Southland Log Homes, has announced the opening of their newest sales model near San Antonio, Texas. A ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for October 1st, 2008, at 10 am at the model.

The sales model is located about ten miles north of San Antonio’s city center on I-35 at exit 172 in Live Oak. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays, 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday.

The fully furnished log home model is Southland’s most popular design, The Grand Lake. It has an open floor plan with 2,050 heated square feet. The home has a large Master Bedroom suite downstairs and two bedrooms and a bath upstairs. It also features a balcony overlooking the home’s oversized Great Room with a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace.

The home has ample outside decking, with French doors leading from the Master Bedroom, Great Room and Dining Room onto the deck space. Connected to the home is an enclosed breezeway leading to a large garage, which has been finished as offices for Southland’s sales and administration group.
